High School

Men's Collegiate

A simultaneous foul is the same as a double foul because each team has committed a foul at approximately the same time.

Women's Collegiate

Prior to B1 attempting the first of two free throws, A6 reports to the scorer’s table to replace A1. The trail official beckons A6 in the game.

International

The centre line is considered part of the backcourt.

The cylinder principle applies only to defensive players
A1 is attempting a shot and has both feet off the floor and “kicks” B1. A1 kicks B1 before the ball is released. A1 should be penalized with an offensive foul.
